In Iran it was very common to see the bank right next
to a mosque. The bank is the building with the signs
in red letters to the right of the mosque in the center
Is it insecurity that necessitates getting the money
someplace safe after receiving it from the donors?

The architectural highlight of Tehran is the arch and tower
called "Azadi" or "Freedom." This view, looking up at
the inside of the arch, displays a small hint of the beauty
and intricacies of design. It admirably captures
the aspirations of all people, and especially the Irani people,
for that great demand of the human spirit.

This artistic rendering of birds escaping from their
bondage(notice the torn wire mesh they are leaving
behind)shows the great desire of Irani people to escape
their present social bondage. The background mural
on the side of a building also shows a heroic bird
fighting to escape from the tendrils of the scene of war
below. In the background to the left is a mosque, the center
of power for the ruling Islamic leadership.
