Judge OKs Islamic role-playing in classroom:
The desire to overcome unjustified prejudice against Muslims
in the spirit of multiculturalism has led to some public school systems
(elementary, middle and high school levels) to devote instructional time
to teaching Islam in a way that is not permitted for other religions.
This has stirred public controversy.

Council on Islamic Education
The Curriculum in question was designed by the Council on Islamic Education, which has since responded to the court case
by taking the position that role playing activities should not be used in teaching about religion.
